Pick up the basics on natives, invasives, pesticides, herbicides, and more from local gardening experts and take home some new ideas for greening your landscape.
June 23- What Exactly IS Sustainable Living? Jeff McIntyre-Strasburg, editor of Sustainablog and a partner in Greenoptions.com, will talk about what it means to create a just and sustainable world and how we can start living the dream today.
July 28— Choosing Alternative Transportation. See the latest and coolest recumbent bicycles from St. Louis Recumbents and learn who’s making Biodiesel, and how, in St. Louis.
August 25— Eliminate Toxins from your Pets’ Lives. Meet Amy, owner of Pets in the City in Soulard, and learn how chemical-free soaps, skin care products, and snacks can benefit your dog and cat. Hear what’s new in the natural pet care world and find out how you can reduce your furry friends’ exposure to man’s toxic world.
September 22— Green Remodeling and Building Products. Mike Matthews, editor of Green Building Products Dealer, presents a range of new building products for both commercial and residential applications.
